Role Description This full-time hybrid Drone Pilot role is based in Coimbatore, with flexibility for some work from home. The Drone Pilot will operate UAVs for various missions such as inspections, surveys, aerial photography, and testing flights, following all safety and regulatory guidelines. Daily responsibilities include planning flight paths, performing pre- and post-flight checks, capturing and logging flight data, and reporting any technical issues. The role also involves supporting field tests of new drone platforms, collaborating with engineering and training teams, and occasionally assisting in training sessions or demonstrations for clients and trainees.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Drone Piloting and Piloting, with proven experience operating UAVs in diverse environments.
• Hands-on experience with Drones and UAV systems, including basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience or interest in Training related to drone operations, safety procedures, or user education.
• Knowledge of aviation safety standards and relevant regulations (DGCA or equivalent), with a commitment to compliant operations.
• Ability to interpret maps, flight plans, and mission requirements, and to document flight results accurately.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setting in Coimbatore, including field deployments and remote coordination.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams.
• Relevant certification in drone piloting or UAV operations; technical or engineering background is an advantage.
