Role Objective:

Own and drive the P&L for the Wires & Cables business, leading sales, business development, procurement, and cross-functional operations. Identify and convert market opportunities into business through viable business plans, while leading the team to deliver business growth and profitability.

Role Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end P&L, including revenue, gross margins, EBITDA, working capital, and overall business profitability.

- Drive business growth across various product categories including aluminium wire rod, power cable, high tension (HT) cables (<33 KV), conductors, and LT AB Cable.

- Developing GTM for private and govt, source approvals from relevant agencies, developing strategies for growth of the business.

- Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and revenue streams.

- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing sales, business development, and operational teams.

- Collaborate with technical, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure product competitiveness.

- Assess competitive offerings and develop unique value propositions.

- End-to-end responsibility of sales, account management, operations & supply chain.

- Plan, execute and monitor the sales operations with the objective of attaining accelerated growth.

- Ensure account stabilization and further growth.

Qualification & Experience:

- 15+ years of relevant experience in P&L management. Prior experience in wires & cables would be preferred.

- The role requires 25 - 30% travel, depending on business requirements.

Knowledge/ Skills:

- Must enjoy sales hunting and driving aggressive sales targets, coaching and mentoring a sizable team.

- Excellent communication & people management skills. Should have led a sizeable team. High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch.

- B. Tech

- MBA from reputed institute
