About this role
We're hiring: Director of Photography at Auzaie Film & Production
Auzaie is growing its film and production arm, and we're looking for a Director of Photography to lead the camera on our shoots. If you think in frames, light and movement, and you want your work to be seen, we'd like to hear from you.
About the role
You will own the visual side of every project you work on, from the first conversation about the look to the final frames handed over to the edit. You'll work closely with our creative and production team on brand films, commercials, social content, reels and larger productions for our clients.
What you'll do
•
Plan the visual approach for each project: shot lists, framing, lens choices and camera movement
•
Design and set up lighting for interiors, exteriors, products and people
•
Lead the camera on set and keep every shot consistent with the agreed look
•
Work with the director and editor so the footage cuts together cleanly and holds up in color grading
•
Manage your camera, lenses and media on shoot days, including backups and handover
•
Bring ideas that lift the work beyond the brief
What you need
•
You should have your own professional camera for shooting. This is a requirement for the role.
•
Proven experience in cinematography, videography or camera work
•
A strong eye for composition, lighting and color
•
A portfolio or showreel that shows your range
•
Reliability on shoot days and good communication with the team and clients
•
Basic knowledge of lenses, audio on set, stabilisers and lighting gear is a plus
Compensation
You earn a 15% commission based on the profit of every project you work on. The more projects you shoot, the more you earn.
Work model
Flexible and project based. Shoot schedules are planned in advance with you.
Location
Preferred from Kashmir, India.
