DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform, and Jenkins. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, and scripting, along with exposure to AI-powered tools for improving DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EKS and other cloud services.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerised applications using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline operational tasks.
• Manage Linux-based systems and configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Nginx web servers and reverse proxies.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus, New Relic, and ELK Stack.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, performance, and production issues to ensure system reliability and availability.
• Follow security best practices, manage access controls, and optimise cloud infrastructure costs.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to assist with scripting, infrastructure troubleshooting, log analysis, incident investigation, and operational automation.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Good scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and Nginx.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, New Relic, and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Understanding of Docker, containerization, networking, and cloud security.
• Experience troubleshooting production environments and improving system reliability.
• Exposure to AI tools or AI-assisted DevOps automation and troubleshooting.

Good To Have:

• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
• Knowledge of Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with incident management, SRE practices, and infrastructure cost optimisation.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response workflows.
