Design Architect - Project Lead

Role Description The Design Architect – Project Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for leading architectural design from concept development through detailed design, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design integrity and project feasibility. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, construction documentation, and design presentations, while aligning design solutions with client requirements, local regulations, and project budgets. The role involves managing design workflows, guiding junior team members, and overseeing design quality across project stages. The Project Lead will also attend client meetings, conduct site visits, and collaborate with contractors to support smooth project execution.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Architectural Design and Architecture skills, with experience in concept development and detailed design.
• Candidates should possess effective Design Management capabilities, including project coordination, team leadership, and workflow management.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including preparation, review, and coordination of detailed documentation.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) is highly beneficial.
• A professional degree in Architecture from a recognized institution and relevant experience leading design projects are preferred.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in India is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high design and documentation standards.
