Job Description
- Develop and execute debt fundraising strategies.
- This is a middle office role.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.
- Prepare financial models and business presentations for investors.
- Coordinate due diligence processes with financial institutions.
- Track market trends and identify potential funding opportunities.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with investors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during fundraising activities.
- Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to senior management.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in debt capital markets, DCM/structured finance at a bank, NBFC treasury, an NBFC's own fundraising team, a boutique debt advisory, or a credit fund.
- Have run or meaningfully supported raises from banks, NBFCs or funds, and can talk credibly about term sheets, covenants, security structures and what makes a credit committee say yes
- familiarity with NCDs, term loans, DA transactions, rating processes and instrument structuring.
- CA or MBA from a reputed institution.
- Sharp financial modelling and analytical skills; fluency with lending metrics
- Clear, structured communication
- Work closely with the C-Suite and Founders
- High visibility role which is part of succession plan for the Head -Treasury
