Role Overview:-

The DDU-GKY Mobiliser will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and engaging eligible youth for DDU-GKY skill development programs. The role involves extensive fieldwork, community outreach, counselling, and coordination with local stakeholders to achieve mobilization targets.

Key Responsibility:-

• Conduct community visits and field-level outreach to identify eligible candidates.
• Mobilize and counsel youth regarding DDU-GKY programs, eligibility, benefits, and career opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with youth, families, village leaders, educational institutions, and local stakeholders.
• Coordinate with partner organizations and community representatives for mobilization activities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, attendance data, and mobilization-related documentation.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on mobilization activities and progress against targets.
• Use smartphones, messaging applications, MS Word, and MS Excel for communication and data entry.
• Travel within Varanasi and surrounding areas as required for field mobilization.
• Independently manage field activities while meeting assigned targets and deadlines.
  

Required Qualification:-

• Minimum 10+2 / Higher Secondary qualification.
• Graduate degree in Social Work, Humanities, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Strong community outreach and field mobilization skills.
• Good communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in local languages.
• Basic digital literacy and proficiency in smartphones, messaging applications, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with youth, families, and local stakeholders.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in field environments and meet targets.

Preference Knowledge:-

• Knowledge of DDU-GKY or similar Government Skill Development Programs will be preferred.
• Understanding of the local socio-economic conditions and communities in and around Varanasi will be an advantage.
