Role Description

The Data Science - Subject Matter Expert will design and deliver high-quality learning content, including lectures, problem sets, case studies, and projects that help learners master core data science concepts and tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and teaching data science topics, reviewing and improving existing course material, creating assessments, and providing detailed feedback and guidance to learners. The role involves collaborating with other instructors and content teams to align curricula with current industry expectations and hiring standards. The expert will also analyze learner performance data to refine teaching strategies and support continuous improvement of FACE Prep's programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a solid foundation in Statistics.
• Candidates should possess skills in Data Science, including model building, evaluation, and deployment concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics and Data Analysis, with experience interpreting and presenting insights.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools (such as Python/R, SQL, and common data science libraries) is beneficial.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in data science, analytics, or a closely related field.
• Previous teaching, mentoring, or training experience, especially in tech or data-focused programs, is an advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to learners at different skill levels.
