Position: Data Processor General Insurance / Motor Underwriting

Skill Required: General Insurance operations, Motor Insurance / Motor Underwriting, NB, ENDT and RN processing, insurance policy administration / underwriting applications, web-based applications, MS Excel and MS Office. Responsibilities:
- Process day-to-day Motor Insurance underwriting-related transactions within defined SLA/TAT.
- Handle New Business (NB), Endorsements (ENDT), and Renewals (RN) processing.
- Review incoming requests and supporting information for completeness and accuracy.
- Process insurance transaction details using designated web-based applications and systems.
- Validate policy, vehicle, and transaction-related information against business rules and processing guidelines.
- Perform data entry, transaction updates, and required validations.
- Handle regular endorsements as well as multi-vehicle/fleet-related requests.
- Process renewal transactions and support renewal documentation and policy printing.
- Review and respond to processing-related queries and clarification requests.
- Identify missing information, discrepancies, or inconsistencies and raise queries with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform maker-level quality checks before transaction closure.
- Follow defined SOPs, work instructions, process guidelines, and client-specific business rules.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets.
- Prioritize urgent and time-sensitive requests.
- Monitor pending transactions and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Escalate exceptions, system issues, and transactions requiring special handling.
- Maintain accurate processing records and support operational reporting.
- Participate in quality improvement, process enhancement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality of customer, policy, and insurance-related information.
