Zoenix is hiring an experienced Data Migration Lead for a government-sector technology project.
Position Details- Role: Data Migration Lead
- Experience: 10+ years
- Location: Delhi / Gurgaon / Noida
- Work Mode: On-site, Delhi
- Compensation: Up to 80,000/month
- Contract: 1 year, with potential for extension
- Interview: Face-to-face in Delhi

We are looking for a Data Migration Lead with strong experience in enterprise-scale data migration, ETL and legacy system modernization.
The ideal candidate should have experience leading complex migration initiatives, coordinating technical teams and ensuring data quality, integrity and successful migration outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end data migration activities for large-scale technology platforms
- Develop and execute data migration strategies and plans
- Analyze legacy databases, applications and data structures
- Define data mapping, transformation and migration rules
- Lead ETL activities including data extraction, transformation and loading
- Manage data profiling, cleansing and validation
- Coordinate migration testing and data reconciliation
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Work closely with application, database, development and QA teams
- Manage migration risks, dependencies and timelines
- Prepare migration plans, technical documentation and status reports
- Coordinate migration cutover activities
- Validate migrated data for completeness, accuracy and integrity
- Support post-migration validation and issue resolution
- Lead and coordinate migration teams and stakeholders
- 10+ years of overall IT experience
- Strong experience in enterprise data migration
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes
- Experience with legacy system data migration and modernization
- Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation and loading
- Experience with data mapping and transformation
- Data profiling, cleansing and validation experience
- Data reconciliation and migration testing experience
- Experience handling large-scale and complex migration initiatives
- Strong stakeholder and cross-functional coordination skills
- Experience leading data migration teams or workstreams
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
Experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
- Government / public-sector technology projects
- Large enterprise data migration programs
- Legacy application modernization
- Financial or administrative systems
- Large-scale technology transformation projects
- Complex, high-volume data migration environments
- Currently based in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida
- Comfortable working on-site in Delhi
- Available for a face-to-face interview in Delhi
- Comfortable with a 1-year contractual engagement with potential for extension
- No restriction on notice period or current employment status
This is a senior Data Migration Lead requirement. Candidates should have substantial experience leading enterprise-scale data migration projects, rather than only working as an ETL developer or database administrator.
Candidates with relevant government/public-sector or large-scale enterprise migration experience will be preferred.
