Customer Emissions Reporting EGS

Role Purpose:

Mid-level sustainability professional to support Group Sustainability, with a primary focus on customer emissions reporting and sustainability data management. Should have prior experience in Sustainability emission reporting and ESG reporting standards. The Sustainability Emission Reporting Specialist shall be responsible for managing and reporting the organizations greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and other environmental metrics. The data source will be our own Data lake which will allow Power BI to generate reports and or templates shared by the emission tool provider EcoTransIT.

• We will capture the lane info. in a given template and use the online calculator to prepare the final reports.
• Should also have good communication skills so that they are able to do knowledge sharing or training as needed.
• This role shall ensure accurate data collection, analysis on demand basis, answering queries received on the data shared.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement & manage end-to-end customer emissions reporting processes, including data collection, validation, governance, and reporting.
• Act as the central support resource for global customer emissions reporting requests, managing quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting requirements based on customer and commercial team needs.
• Deliver customer-facing emissions reports while driving continuous improvements in reporting processes, data quality, and automation.
• Develop and maintain a centralized database of DP World's sustainability capabilities, solutions, case studies, credentials, and customer references across regions and business units.
• Coordinate closely with regional teams, GHSE, and Group Sustainability to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of emissions and sustainability data.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in sustainability reporting or environmental data management.
• Strong understanding of GHG accounting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or ESG software platforms).
• Excellent communication

We are looking into various reporting categories.

Power BI will be used for regular or on -demand reports (that DPW will share with customers) ; here with API integration, data will be exchanged between TiaB and ETW, and user would just need to use the right template in Power BI to download the customer report, do sanity checks and share it with the customer or internal stakeholder

1. Use Mass calculation tool : a pre-defined template will be used, data will be keyed in by the sender, the GSC will coordinate the data completion, quality checks and make use of the solution to calculate the emissions and share the final reports with the needed stakeholders. Multiple lane emission calculations for tenders (pre shipment)
2. Multiple lane simulations for the various end customers shipments handled not in TiaB (post shipment)
3. Multiple lane simulation to build case study for the customers pre shipment (pre shipment)
