You're the person who sends a reel to the group chat at 1am with we should do this, but weirder. Good. We want that person, plus the follow-through to get the idea made and posted.

About us

Design Asylum is a Marketing, branding, packaging and UI/UX studio based in Pune. We've spent 10+ years building brands and products for names like Puma, Kia and Axis Bank, with clients across India, the US and the Middle East.

We also make a lot of content. There's Asylum Decoded, our own Instagram page, plus brand pages and founder personal brands we run for clients. That's where you'll spend most of your time. Ideas are cheap here. Ideas that get made and reach the right people at the right time are the whole job.

What you'll do

• Pitch ideas that make us laugh or go wait, can we actually do that Then work out how we can.
• Dig up references (reels, ads, posters, that one strange Behance page) and turn them into briefs our graphic designers and video editors can run with
• Chase the work until it's done. You'll coordinate with our crew of 7-8 editors, give feedback, and push for the better version when the first one is just okay.
• Decide what goes out, where it goes, and when it goes live
• Write a bit: hooks, short scripts, voiceover lines, captions
• Talk to editors, influencers and creators. Brief them, follow up, keep things friendly and on schedule.
• Handle brand accounts and personal branding accounts day to day: posting, replies, and checking what worked so we do more of it

What we're looking for

• A lot of passion. You watch content like a nerd and have opinions on why some posts fly and others die. This one is non-negotiable.
• A notes app full of half-baked ideas you're itching to try
• You can explain an idea clearly enough that a designer or editor gets it in one go (fine, two)
• You know Instagram well: formats, trends, and what's working this month versus last month
• Organised enough to keep ten things moving without dropping any
• You can write a first line that makes someone stop scrolling
• Comfortable messaging people you've never met, including influencers and founders
• Mass media, marketing, design, or I just kept making stuff are all welcome backgrounds

Nice-to-have

• You are already in Pune
• You've run a page (yours or someone else's) and grown it
• Enough Canva, Figma or CapCut to rough out an idea yourself before handing it over
• You've worked with influencers or creators before
