As Coupa System Specialist, you will keep Coupa and its SAP connections running reliably, so invoices move from receipt to payment with less manual work. With a primary focus on Coupa Invoicing, you will fix issues at the root, automate repetitive tasks and help shape digitalisation across the procure-to-pay process. Your work gives finance and procurement colleagues stable, secure systems they can rely on every day, across countries and functions.

What you'll bring

• 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting and configuring Coupa, with strong expertise in Coupa Invoicing.

• A solid understanding of procure-to-pay, Accounts Payable, invoice matching, approval workflows and financial controls.

• Experience integrating Coupa with SAP, and an understanding of cross-module process and data dependencies.

• Practical knowledge of APIs, middleware, data mapping, interface monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Experience in application operations, incident and change management, testing and release support.

• The ability to spot automation opportunities and deliver measurable process improvements, including experience with Power Platform and AI tools.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.

Useful, but not essential:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline, with 10-12 years of IT experience.

• Coupa certification, or relevant implementation and support experience.

• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, integration platforms, and scripting or automation tools.

• Exposure to electronic invoicing, supplier enablement and multi-country invoice processing.

What you'll do

You will own the day-to-day health of Coupa and its interfaces, and use what you learn to make invoice processing faster, more accurate and more automated.

• Run Coupa operations end to end: monitoring, configuration, maintenance and support. Own incidents, service requests, problems and changes, and resolve them within agreed service levels.

• Investigate root causes of recurring application and interface issues, and put preventive measures in place.

• Manage data flows between Coupa, SAP and other connected systems, covering suppliers, cost centres, general ledger accounts, tax codes, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoices and payment status. Define and maintain interface specifications, field mappings, validation rules and reconciliation procedures.

• Own the operational support and continuous improvement of Coupa Invoicing, from invoice receipt, validation, matching and approval through to transfer to SAP for posting and payment. This includes PO-based and non-PO invoices, credit notes and tax requirements.

• Design and implement enhancements and automation using APIs, integration tools, scripts or workflow capabilities, and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.

• Coordinate releases, upgrades and regression testing, and keep documentation, procedures and controls current, in line with security, access, audit and change management requirements.

Success looks like stable Coupa operations, reliable SAP interfaces, fewer invoice exceptions, more touchless processing and timely incident resolution.

Who you'll work with

You will join Digital Procurement Solutions in Enterprise IT & Quality. The department provides system support for Novo's finance and procurement processes, keeping Procure-to-Pay solutions stable, secure and optimised so the business can operate efficiently across countries and functions.

Your closest partners will be Accounts Payable, Finance and Procurement colleagues, suppliers, SAP functional and technical teams, and middleware specialists. You will also work with global business partners in supplier management and HR, and with colleagues at HQ, to deliver scalable, future-proof integrations between SAP and Coupa.
