About the Role
Enterprise Food Safety, Quality Governance & Consumer Trust Leader
The Corporate Quality Head will be the enterprise custodian of food safety, quality assurance, regulatory governance and consumer trust across Zappfresh and Meevaa Foods. You will build a future-ready quality ecosystem that supports:
- aggressive business growth
- new product innovation
- geographic expansion
- modern trade and quick commerce partnerships
- world-class manufacturing standards
As a member of the Leadership Team, you will set strategic direction on quality risk management, regulatory compliance, brand protection, supplier quality, customer assurance and continuous improvement.
You will also have independent authority to hold or release products in the interest of consumer safety and brand reputation.

How Success Is Measured
- Food Safety & Audit Outcomes: regulatory, customer and third-party audit results
- Regulatory Compliance: licences, labels and claims
- Customer Complaints: trend, root cause and CAPA closure
- Supplier & Raw Material Quality: approval discipline and incoming material performance
- Cold Chain Integrity: temperature control across storage and delivery
- Traceability & Recall Readiness: speed and completeness of mock recalls
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 15+ years in food quality and safety, including 5+ years as a quality head or multi-site leader. Exposure to both fresh meat/seafood and frozen RTC/RTE is preferred.
- Qualification: M.Sc / M.Tech in Food Technology or Microbiology
- Key Skills: in-depth knowledge of FSSAI regulations, audit leadership, cold chain quality, and the independence to stop a dispatch
