Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and engaging volunteers who contribute to OP Toons Production's animation and gaming initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and tracking assignments, and maintaining clear, consistent communication across digital channels. The coordinator will provide basic training resources, answer questions, and ensure volunteers understand project goals, timelines, and quality expectations. This role also involves fostering a positive, inclusive volunteer community, recognizing contributions, and gathering feedback to improve volunteer programs. The coordinator will collaborate with production and project leads to align volunteer efforts with current 3D animation and mobile game projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively organize, onboard, and support volunteers.
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build relationships, give clear instructions, and resolve issues constructively.
• Candidates should possess experience or interest in Community Outreach to help attract and engage volunteers from diverse communities and networks.
• Experience coordinating remote teams or volunteer groups using online tools and platforms (e.g., email, chat, project management software) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with creative or media production environments (animation, gaming, digital content) is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple volunteers and tasks concurrently are important.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, respect, and non-discriminatory practices in working with volunteers from varied backgrounds is highly valued.
