Role Summary

We are looking for a strategic and hands on Content Head who can lead the content function from idea to publication and should compulsary know South Indian Languages. This person must be a strong writer, understand marketing strategy and know how to build content with the potential to earn attention, conversation and measurable business results. The role includes managing the content team, setting priorities and ensuring every piece of content meets the brand standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and own the content strategy across relevant social, video, web and campaign channels.

· Create monthly and weekly content calendars aligned with marketing goals, launches, seasonal opportunities and audience interests.

· Develop original content pillars, campaign concepts, series ideas, hooks, scripts, captions and calls to action.

· Write, edit and approve content that is clear, accurate, engaging and consistent with the brand voice.

· Use platform trends and cultural insights intelligently without chasing every trend or copying competitors.

· Lead brainstorming sessions and translate ideas into clear briefs for writers, video editors, designers and creators.

· Assign work, set deadlines, review output, provide actionable feedback and manage the team's day to day priorities.

· Coordinate with marketing, design, sales, operations and leadership so content supports broader business objectives.

· Plan organic and paid content together with appropriate messaging for awareness, engagement, leads and conversions.

· Track performance, identify winning patterns and present practical recommendations based on reach, retention, engagement, leads and conversions.

· Maintain an organised approval process, content archive, campaign tracker and reusable library of strong formats.

· Protect brand reputation by checking facts, claims, tone, spelling, compliance and originality before publication.

Required Skills and Experience

· Minimum 3 years of experience in content strategy, content writing, social media or a closely related role.The candidate must be proficient in Kannada or Telugu and understand the cultural preferences of South Indian audiences.

· A portfolio showing high performing or viral content, successful campaigns and measurable audience or business impact.

· Strong command of written communication, storytelling, scriptwriting, editing and content structuring.

· Practical knowledge of marketing strategy, customer journeys, brand positioning, campaign planning and calls to action.

· Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, algorithms, audience behaviour and current digital culture.

· Experience managing a content team or coordinating writers, editors, designers, creators and external partners.

· Ability to balance creative ambition with deadlines, budgets, brand standards and commercial goals.

· Confidence using analytics and reporting tools to evaluate results and guide decisions.
