Position Overview:

• The neurologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with neurological disorders. This includes conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, migraines, and neurodegenerative diseases. The neurologist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough neurological examinations and take detailed medical histories.
• Diagnosis: Interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., MRI, CT scans, EEGs) to identify neurological conditions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists.
• Patient Management: Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Patient Education: Provide information to patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Research and Development:Stay updated on advancements in neurology and participate in clinical research when applicable
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, psychologists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation of treatment plans and outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• MBBS, MD / DNB / DM / Fellowship
• Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience (post PG) in a consultancy role.
• KMC certificate.
