Job Summary

Nu10 Technologies Private Limited is looking for qualified and motivated medical doctors to join our team as Telemedical Underwriters.

In this role, you will conduct telemedical assessments, gather relevant medical information from insured members, analyse medical records and test reports, and prepare accurate Medical Examination Reports (MER) to support the insurance underwriting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telemedical verification of insured members through audio, chat, and video communication.
• Conduct health assessments and gather accurate medical information.
• Review and analyse medical records, investigation reports, laboratory results, medications, and other medical documents.
• Assess medical information and identify relevant health risks to support underwriting.
• Prepare accurate Medical Examination Reports (MER) in the prescribed format.
• Apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, diseases, symptoms, medications, and laboratory values.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
• Use telemedical platforms and digital systems to conduct assessments and maintain records.
• Communicate professionally with insured members.
• Manage assigned cases efficiently and meet timelines and quality standards.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• Medical degree: BHMS / BAMS / BDS , as per the role's eligibility requirements.
• Valid medical registration/license is required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, diseases, medications, and laboratory investigations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Comfortable using telemedical platforms, digital tools, and online systems.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and detailed medical reports.
• Knowledge of a regional language is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in telemedicine, medical underwriting, insurance, healthcare, or MER preparation is preferred.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
