About this role
We are looking for an experienced CompEx Certified Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in hazardous area electrical systems, Ex-rated equipment, inspection, testing, and maintenance.
Position: CompEx Engineer – Electrical
Experience:
• B.E./B.Tech – Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics: 4+ Years
• Diploma – Electrical/Electronics: 8+ Years
CompEx Certification: Mandatory
Valid Electrical License/Certificate: As applicable under CEA regulations
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect, test, maintain, and certify electrical equipment in hazardous areas
• Ensure compliance with CompEx, ATEX, Ex standards, and applicable regulations
• Conduct hazardous-area electrical inspections and identify non-compliance
• Verify Ex-rated equipment, cable glands, junction boxes, enclosures, and installations
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance
• Ensure equipment is suitable for the applicable hazardous-area classification
• Review Ex certificates, technical documentation, and inspection records
• Support electrical construction, commissioning, shutdown, and maintenance activities
• Provide technical guidance on Ex equipment installation, inspection, and maintenance
• Maintain inspection, testing, certification, and compliance documentation
