yields, monitor trading margins, and ensure strict statutory compliance.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Accounts, Banking & Tally Management
• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations in Tally Prime.
• Finalize monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets, separating manufacturing and trading
margins.
• Synchronize multi-location inventory data between the Bangalore corporate office and Chintamani plant.
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash flows, and trade finance (Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees).
• Enforce strict credit control by monitoring outstanding debtor aging schedules.
2.Statutory Compliances & Taxation
• Execute flawless GST filings (GSTR-1, 3B), TDS/TCS computations, E-way bills, and e-invoices.
• Oversee monthly payroll and statutory deductions including Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, and Professional Tax.
• Maintain compliance with regional forest department regulations, transit passes, and factory licensing.
• Own end-to-end statutory, tax, and inventory audit processes.
3. Plywood Costing, Budgeting & Variance Analysis
• Set up accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) patterns in Tally to monitor raw timber log recovery and chemical usage.
• Generate monthly variance reports comparing standard yields vs. actual processing benchmarks.
• Formulate annual budgets and dynamic pricing matrices to protect gross margins from timber price fluctuations.
4. Procurement, Stores & Logistics Oversight
• Support the purchase team in vendor negotiations for timber, chemicals, and hardware.
• Conduct periodic physical-to-system stock tallies to minimize dead stock and warehouse vulnerabilities.
• Optimize heavy vehicle logistics networks and streamline order-to-cash workflows via the CRM desk.
5. EDP & Systems Control
• Act as the administrator for Tally Prime, regulating user permissions, designing custom reports, and securing
daily backups.
Candidate Profile Requirements
• Education: B.Com / M.Com required. Post-graduate/Professional qualifications (CA, CMA, MBA Finance) are
highly preferred.
• Experience: 10–15 years in a core commercial role, with direct exposure to Plywood, MDF, Particle Board,
Laminates, or Building Materials sectors.
• Technical Skills: Advanced hands-on mastery over Tally Prime inventory and statutory models.
• Mobility: Readiness to travel and split operational oversight between Bangalore and Chintamani.
