Cluster Manager

Go-Grab is building the next generation of smart vending and convenience retail in India. We operate smart vending machines across leading colleges and high-footfall locations, bringing snacks, beverages and everyday essentials closer to consumers through technology-driven retail.

As we continue expanding across cities and campuses, we are looking for a Cluster Manager – City Operations to take ownership of our operations across a city/cluster.

About the Role

As a Cluster Manager, you will be the city-level owner of Go-Grab's operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our machines are consistently operational, well-stocked and performing efficiently. This is a highly hands-on role involving people management, inventory, field operations, machine performance, vendor management and problem-solving.

You will work closely with the central operations, supply chain, technology and business teams to ensure smooth execution on the ground.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end operations for Go-Grab's machines across your assigned city/cluster
• Ensure high machine uptime, product availability and operational performance
• Manage and supervise field teams, refillers, technicians and other on-ground partners
• Plan and monitor daily refilling, replenishment and inventory movement
• Track machine-level performance and identify underperforming locations
• Conduct regular RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for operational issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure machines are properly maintained, clean, functional and customer-ready
• Monitor inventory, stock availability, expiry and product movement
• Coordinate with the warehouse/supply team to ensure timely replenishment
• Manage vendors and third-party service providers where required
• Handle escalations from colleges, customers and internal teams
• Build strong relationships with college/institution stakeholders at the operational level
• Support new machine installations and new campus launches

What we're looking for

• 2–6 years of experience in operations, city operations, field operations, supply chain, logistics, retail operations or a similar role
• Experience managing multiple locations/sites is strongly preferred
• Experience managing field teams, vendors, delivery teams, technicians or frontline employees
• Strong people-management and execution abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Willing to be hands-on and spend time on the ground when required
• Strong ownership mentality — you don't wait for someone else to solve a problem
• Experience in quick commerce, logistics, FMCG, retail, food & beverage, facility management or other field operations is a plus

Who will thrive in this role

We're looking for someone who is street-smart, resourceful and highly execution-oriented.

This is not a desk-only operations role. You should be comfortable going to a campus, speaking to a refiller, checking a machine, investigating why inventory is missing, understanding why availability has dropped, solving the issue and putting a process in place so it doesn't happen again.

You will have significant ownership of your city's performance and will be expected to identify problems before they become escalations.
