Cloud Silicon Site Lead, Google Cloud

In most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience with technical experience in leading silicon teams in Design or Design Verification or Physical Design domain.
• 6 years of experience in building, mentoring, and leading a multi-functional engineering organization.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
• Knowledge of end-to-end ASIC/SoC design flows, including architecture, RTL, DV, DFT, and Physical Design
• Ability to deliver results, develop people, and build community.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the long-term growth and site-development strategy. Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing organization of managers and engineers. Foster an innovative culture, plan team allocations, and drive leadership development.
• Oversee site-level silicon development from conception to tape-out and production. Partner with global stakeholders to ensure all site deliverables achieve industry-leading targets for Quality, Schedule, and Power, Performance, Area (PPA).
• Collaborate with Architecture, Software Engineering, Platform, and Product teams to build the charter, technical specs, and future roadmaps for next-gen silicon accelerators.
• Participate in and lead critical design, verification, testability, or physical sign-off reviews (matching your domain expertise) to uphold Google's stringent quality standard. Act as the primary site point of contact.
