Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking for Cloud Security Architect/Manager with experience in multiple cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP and Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Design and present high-level and low-level cloud architecture diagrams and documentation for infrastructure, networking, security, and application deployments.
• Cloud Strategy & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor on cloud strategy, including workload migration approaches (e.g., re-host, re-platform, re-factor), cloud-native development best practices, and cost optimization.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the implementation of cloud environments using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, promoting automation and repeatability.
• Security & Compliance: Design and implement robust security controls, identity and access management (IAM) policies, and governance frameworks to meet enterprise security and compliance requirements.
• DevOps & Automation: Architect CI/CD pipelines and promote a culture of automation for application deployment and infrastructure management, enabling developer velocity.
• Technical Leadership: Act as the senior technical expert on cloud technologies for both the client and internal Codvo teams, providing mentorship and hands-on guidance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 12+ years in IT/Software Engineering with at least 8+ years in a dedicated, hands-on Cloud Architect role.
• Deep Cloud Expertise: Expert-level knowledge and implementation experience with one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong hands-on proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancers) and security best practices (e.g., defense in depth, zero trust)
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deep proficiency with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• AI/ML Acumen: Good understanding of modern infrastructure for AI applications, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic solutions. Experience designing infrastructure that incorporate AI/ML systems is crucial.
• Data Architecture & Engineering Infrastructure: Practical experience provisioning. and managing modern data infrastructure tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Apache Spark) and designing high-throughput storage and compute environments optimized for heavy data science model training and ETL workflows.
• Communication & Consulting: Strong ability to communicate technical designs and strategies effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders in a consultative manner.
