Cinematographer

As a Cinematographer at Beebom, you'll have an exciting role in creating awesome visual content that showcases the latest innovations in the industry. We use top-of-the-line equipment to produce high-quality tech videos in varied environments. Challenging shoots and an ever-growing creative quotient are what excite us the most.

As part of our Instagram video production team, you will be responsible for creating engaging short-form videos, reels, product videos, and other social media content that captures attention and tells a strong visual story. You'll work closely with our content, creative, and post-production teams to bring ideas to life.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2–4 years of experience and good knowledge of cameras, mics, lighting, sound, and other necessary equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of video editing software such as FCP, Adobe Premiere Pro etc.
• Good understanding of cinematography, framing, composition, lighting, camera movements, and visual storytelling.
• Prior experience in shooting and editing videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Good understanding of background music and sound effects.
• Working knowledge of stop motion, animation, creative video editing effects, and motion graphics editing is a BIG plus.
• Ability to create engaging product shots, B-roll, talking-head videos, reels, and other short-form content.
• Should have a good understanding of current social media trends and short-form video formats.
• Creative thinking is a BIG PLUS.
• A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing your cinematography and video work will be preferred.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Produce videos that will resonate with our audience and drive a high level of engagement and sharing.
• Plan and execute shoots for Instagram Reels, short-form videos, product videos, and other social media content.
• Work closely with the content, creative, and post-production teams.
• Brainstorm ideas and come up with exciting concepts for Instagram and social media content.
• Handle cameras, lighting, sound, and other production equipment during shoots.
• Experiment with different camera movements, lighting setups, compositions, and creative techniques to improve the visual quality of our content.
• Must keep an eye on current trends in cinematography, Instagram, and short-form video content.
• Edit and assist with post-production when required, including basic colour correction, sound design, transitions, and creative effects.
• Safely use new and modified equipment and ensure all production equipment is properly maintained.
• Organise and manage footage and other production assets efficiently.
