Role Overview:

We are looking for a Chinese Interpreter / Translator to facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking and Indian teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) and be capable of accurately interpreting technical and business discussions in real time.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a bridge between Chinese and Indian teams during meetings, site visits, and discussions.
Translate documents, emails, and reports from Mandarin to English (and vice versa) with high accuracy.
Interpret technical terminology related to engineering, production, or project operations as required.
Support expatriate staff and local teams to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling company documents and conversations.
Assist in coordinating with Chinese vendors, clients, or consultants.
Provide cultural and linguistic insights to enhance team understanding and communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Mandarin (HSK Level 5 or above preferred).
Strong command of English and Hindi.
Proven experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in an industrial or project-based environment.
Good understanding of technical or business vocabulary (engineering/construction/manufacturing preferred).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Chinese EPC or manufacturing companies.
Familiarity with tools like MS Office, email communication, and translation software.
Availability for travel and site-based interpretation if required.
