CDP Bakery Kitchen
Role Summary
The CDP Bakery Kitchen is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality bakery products in line with hotel standards. This role supports the Pastry Chef and ensures smooth daily operations in the bakery section.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and hotel standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages.
- Work closely with the Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety protocols.
- Contribute ideas for new bakery items and seasonal menus.
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in Culinary Arts or Bakery Confectionery.
- 23 years of experience in bakery operations, preferably in hotels.
- Expertise in baking techniques, attention to detail, creativity, and time management.
Competencies
- Ability to innovate and craft appealing bakery products.
- Manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver products that enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
