Chartered Accountant (Male Candidates Preferred)

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably having exposure to the manufacturing sector. The candidate will be responsible for independently monitoring accounting, monthly closing, taxation, financial reporting, audit, and statutory compliance activities for manufacturing clients.

Location & Travel:

• Primary Location: Noida/Delhi NCR

• Candidates should be based in Delhi NCR and be willing to travel frequently between Gujarat and Noida as required by project needs.

• Male candidates are preferred due to the nature and travel requirements of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monthly Books Closing & Financial Reporting

Take complete ownership of the monthly books closing process for manufacturing clients.

Prepare and maintain a comprehensive Monthly Closing Activities Tracker and ensure timely completion of all closing activities.

Monitor and follow up on pending closing activities with the client team.

Review key accounting schedules, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and adjustments.

Identify accounting gaps and ensure timely resolution.

Prepare quarterly financial statements and management financial reports.

Coordinate with the CA firm's office and client management for timely financial reporting.

2. Manufacturing Accounting & Cost Review

Review material consumption and consumption variance on a monthly basis.

Review closing stock valuation and ensure appropriate valuation of inventory at period-end.

Review inventory-related accounting, stock adjustments, provisions, and reconciliation of physical and book stock.

3. GST, TDS & Tax Compliance

Review GST compliance, including GST workings, reconciliations, returns, input tax credit, and related matters.

Review TDS compliance, including deductions, payments, returns, and reconciliations.

Review statutory tax compliances and identify potential areas of non-compliance or exposure.

Coordinate with the client and internal team for timely resolution of GST, TDS, and other taxation matters.

4. Audit & Statutory Compliance

Assist in the preparation and review of Tax Audit Reports and related schedules.

Review other applicable statutory compliances and ensure timely completion.

Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

5. Client Visits & Monitoring

Frequently visit client locations to monitor accounting, monthly closing, taxation, and compliance activities.

Prepare and submit regular visit reports and status updates to the CA firm's office.

Undertake out-of-city client visits on a monthly basis as required.

During client visits, review the status of monthly closing activities and follow up on pending items.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience.

Experience in the manufacturing sector or handling manufacturing clients will be strongly preferred.

Good practical knowledge of accounting, monthly closing, GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliances.

Exposure to inventory/closing stock valuation and material consumption variance analysis.

Experience in preparation/review of quarterly financial statements and tax audit-related work.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
