Capital Processing Specialist II

Responsibilities:

• Apply established underwriting guidelines and policies to assess any potential risks in business during the application review and underwriting process.
• Process and review documentation requested during underwriting review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Manage account updates related to change of ownership and legal entity transitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Interact with loan applicants and business owners as needed to request additional information, clarify details, or address specific underwriting considerations, primarily through written communication.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines, and fair lending practices throughout the underwriting process.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of relevant commercial credit or loan processing experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, strong attention to detail, self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to track multiple applications, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
• Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in professionally corresponding with customers via email, promptly addressing concerns, and de-escalating challenging situations to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.
• Act as a key partner to both US-based and international business teams, ensuring a unified approach to capital operations and a smooth hand-off of information.
• Adapt to changing policies and procedures constantly while maintaining high quality in your work.
• Meet and/or exceed production, quality, and customer service goals while adhering to all internal compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Excel is helpful.
