Role Description The Calculus Mentor internship role at EdifyChamps is an on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the mentor will conduct in-person calculus tutoring sessions, explain core concepts, solve practice problems, and help students prepare for exams and assignments. The mentor will assess learners current understanding, design lesson plans, and adapt explanations to different learning styles. Day-to-day responsibilities include clarifying doubts, providing step-by-step solutions, offering regular feedback, and maintaining detailed progress records. The mentor will collaborate with the academic team to improve teaching materials and ensure a consistent, student-centered learning experience.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in calculus and related mathematics topics, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and logically.
• Skills in lesson planning, problem-solving, and adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, encourage questions, and build academic confidence.
• Patience, empathy, and a student-focused approach, with the ability to create a supportive and respectful learning environment.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability to work on-site in Gurugram for the duration of the internship and manage a regular tutoring schedule.
