Role Description The Cafe Server is a part-time, on-site role based at YVR Café in Tilda. In this role, the team member greets guests, takes orders, answers menu questions, and ensures that food and beverages are served accurately and promptly. Daily tasks include preparing and serving coffee and simple food items, maintaining cleanliness of tables and service areas, and handling payments at the counter or cash register. The Cafe Server collaborates with kitchen staff, restocks supplies, and follows health and safety guidelines to provide a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience or interest in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including order taking and serving.
• Basic Cooking or food preparation skills for simple café menu items.
• Ability to work on-site in Tilda, including standing for extended periods and handling a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to hygiene and food safety standards, with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Reliability in attendance, flexibility to work weekends or evenings, and willingness to learn café procedures.
• Previous café, restaurant, or retail experience is beneficial but not required.
