Business Head - Industrial Zone - Manufacturing

Role Overview:

The Business Head for the Industrial Zone in Africa will serve as the primary architect of our regional growth strategy, overseeing the end-to-end operations of large-scale industrial infrastructure projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, engage with high-level government stakeholders and industrial tenants, and drive the overall P&L performance to ensure the zone becomes a premier hub for manufacturing and logistics. By balancing operational excellence with aggressive business development, you will directly influence the economic trajectory of the industrial zone, fostering long-term value for our investors and contributing to the broader industrialization goals of the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- P&L (Profit and Loss) Management: Tracking and owning the financial performance, budgets, revenue targets, and cost control for the units in that zone.

- Operational Oversight: Ensuring smooth day-to-day manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or plant operations aligned with corporate goals.

- Regulatory and Compliance Management: Coordinating with local municipal bodies, pollution control boards, and industrial development authorities to maintain statutory compliance.

- Stakeholder and Vendor Relations: Managing relationships with key suppliers, logistics partners, labor unions, and local government officials.

- Expansion and Strategy: Identifying growth opportunities, scaling facility outputs, and optimizing supply chain or workforce efficiency within the geographic zone.
