Business Architect - Banking

Job Requirements

This role is being recruited across different domains: Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Digital Banking, Capital Markets & Treasury, Payment, and Shared Services & Compliance.

Experience: 7+ years

Required Skills

• Proven experience in business architecture and process design within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of banking products (retail, wholesale, payments, treasury, compliance, etc.) and related business processes.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise-level business analysis or business architecture, preferably in financial services.
• Experience in developing and managing business capability maps, operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience in one of the EA tools and ArchiMate modeling, preferably Bizzdesign.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable business and technology initiatives
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current banking business processes, products, and capabilities to identify improvement and transformation opportunities.
• Develop business capability models and align them with strategic initiatives, regulatory mandates, and customer needs.
• Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into capability roadmaps and architectural deliverables.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Technology teams to ensure business and IT alignment across all initiatives.
• Support the development of business operating models that enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
• Provide strategic recommendations for process optimization, product innovation, and business model enhancements within banking.
• Ensure that business architecture documentation, capability maps, and repositories are maintained and kept up to date.
