Role summary

Turns client requirement sheets into PSK definitions a developer can build from without guessing. The requirement material is incomplete in known and specific ways the data fields behind each PSK and the exact rules for calculated status are largely unstated so the role is as much about closing gaps with the client as recording what is already written. One of the two positions moves onto a parallel workstream finalising requirements for a further 36 PSKs.

Responsibilities
•Confirm the definition of each in-scope PSK with the nominated client business owner against its requirement sheet.
•Specify, for each PSK: grid columns, calculated fields, additional data areas, chart content, and the rule by which red / yellow / green status is set.
•Identify which data fields already exist in the application data store and which are new, working with the developers against the live schema.
•Run grouped working sessions with client business owners to close open requirement items, organised by functional family rather than one session per PSK.
•Produce a completed requirement definition per PSK in a form that can be estimated and built.
•Track open items daily and flag any that threaten a milestone to the Project Manager.

Essential skills and experience
•4+ years eliciting and documenting requirements for web applications, with direct client contact.
•Able to write a specification precise enough to code from — stated thresholds, stated comparisons, no ambiguity in a status rule.
•Comfortable reading a relational schema and writing basic SQL to verify what data already exists.
•Experience working with incomplete requirements and driving them to closure, rather than reporting that they are incomplete.
•Confident running a working session with senior client stakeholders in English.

Desirable
•Automotive product development or programme governance exposure.
•Experience specifying dashboards, scorecards or KPI reporting.
•Familiarity with ExtJS grid and chart behaviour, to specify what the platform can do.
