Business Analyst

Overview

This role leads end-to-end client onboarding and functional delivery for ERP implementations. You'll coordinate kick-offs, map client business processes to ERP workflows, configure the system, and support users through go-live and beyond. Acting as the primary liaison among clients, development, and QA, you turn business needs into clear functional requirements and documentation, ensure timely execution, and enable users with training and support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Implementation & Onboarding · Coordinate with new clients during project kick-off. · Understand client business processes and map them to ERP workflows. · Configure basic system setup as per client requirements. · Support clients during go-live and post-implementation stages.

2. Requirement Gathering & Analysis · Interact with clients to understand new requirements and change requests. · Conduct requirement discussions and workshops with stakeholders.

· Translate business requirements into functional requirements.

3. Functional Documentation (FSD Preparation) · Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSD) based on client needs. · Document workflows, use cases, business rules, and validation scenarios. · Coordinate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements.

4. Module Training & User Support · Provide module-wise training sessions to client users. · Create training materials and user guides when required. · Handle client queries, doubts, and provide functional support.

5. Coordination & Communication · Act as the bridge between Client, Development, and QA teams. · Track implementation progress and follow up on pending tasks. · Ensure timely closure of client issues and change requests.

Skills and Qualifications

- Process & Delivery: Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile; ability to manage multiple clients and tasks in parallel.

- Tools: Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira, Redmine, or ClickUp.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; strong presentation and training skills; problem-solving mindset with client- centric focus.

Success Measures

- On-time, in-scope go-lives with minimal post-implementation issues.

- Clear, actionable FSDs that reduce rework and speed development/QA.

- High user adoption and satisfaction through effective training and support. Efficient cross-team coordination leading to fast turnaround on changes.
