Branch Head - SME Loans

Role & responsibilities

An NBFC is hiring a Branch Head for an SME loans branch in Chennai/Hosur/Trichy/Madurai. The Branch Head leads a team of 3 to 5 and reports to the Territory Head, SME.
1. Prepare a qualified CRM of prospects for different industry segments.
2. Build networking, acquaintance and name recall with SME industry associations and clients.
3. Build a network with machinery manufacturers and dealers.
4. Organise SME events with industry bodies.
5. Generate SME loan leads in the industry segments where the company has built expertise.
6. Work with and motivate the company's branch network for lead generation.
7. Lead a team of 3 to 5 and ensure every Business Development Manager is active every month.
8. Ensure 100 percent collection performance through close collection monitoring.
9. Work with cross-functional teams.
10. Read balance sheets and P&L statements, understand financial ratios, and respond to the Risk team quickly to cut turnaround time.
11. Close exceptions on time.
12. Collect post-disbursal documents and complete compliance on time.

Preferred candidate profile:

1. Any graduate.

2. 12 to 16 years in sales of SME loans with an NBFC or bank, with a team reporting to you.

3. Sales of SME loans, especially machinery term loans, business loans and working capital loans.

4. Understanding of balance sheets, P&L statements and the working capital cycle of different industry segments.

5. Stability of 3 years in each organisation.

6. Immediate joiners preferred. 7. Based in Hosur, or willing to work in Chennai/Hosur/Trichy/Madurai
