BIW Process & Equipment Planning @ Pune

Details of the Job :

* Process Planning of welded sub assemblies and assemblies of BIW

* Equipment selection and preparation of proposals

* Work station layout & equipment installation scheme

* Installation of complete cell, follow up, tryout & handing over

* To study product design & give feed back to R&D from the point of view of manufacturing feasibility, quality & development time, etc.

* To study & implement upgraded technology concepts to improve quality & productivity.

* To understand product requirements & plan the process to meet desired quality & productivity.

* To prepare schedule & priorities for Process Planning, Tool Design & tryout

* To organise for planning & implementation of projects/assignments in consultation with DHs.

* To co ordinate activities for project implementation

Functional Requirements :

* Knowledge of BIW sub assemblies/ assemblies, welding process.

* Various welding equipment including robotic cell, selection criteria, knowledge of various suspension systems of equipment

* Knowledge plant layout preparation

* Knowledge of GD & T.

* Knowledge of technology , system

* Operating knowledge of various software : i.e Auto cad, Catia V5, MS office

* Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA

Education Requirements :

* BE-Mech with 10 to 12 year experience in BIW process planning
