About the Role

Adani Buildcast is engaged in the manufacturing of a wide range of precast concrete products, including I-Girders, U-Girders, Walls, Staircases, Columns, Beams, Slabs, and other structural precast elements. We operate a centralized Design & Engineering Centre at Ahmedabad comprising Structural Engineers, BIM Modelers, Detailers, and Draftsmen.

The BIM Lead will be responsible for leading and overseeing the entire BIM and design coordination function, ensuring timely delivery of accurate models, drawings, shop drawings, and precast detailing for multiple manufacturing and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the centralized BIM, detailing, and modeling team.
• Oversee BIM execution, model development, coordination, and issuance of construction/shop drawings.
• Review and validate precast detailing, reinforcement detailing, and production drawings.
• Coordinate with Structural Design, Production, Projects, and Quality teams for seamless project execution.
• Establish BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate BIM models, precast drawings, and design documentation.
• Drive clash detection, model coordination, and design optimization initiatives.
• Mentor and develop BIM Modelers, Detailers, and Drafting teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 15-20+ years of experience in BIM, Engineering Design, Detailing, and Precast Construction.
• Strong exposure to Precast Concrete Structures is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing large BIM and detailing teams.
• Sound understanding of precast manufacturing and project execution requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Software Expertise

• Tekla Structures
• Autodesk Revit
• Autodesk Navisworks
• BIM Collaboration & Coordination Tools

Preferred Industry Experience

Precast Manufacturing, Industrial Structures, Infrastructure Projects, High-Rise Buildings, Bridges, Metro, and Large-Scale Construction Projects.
