About the Role

ProcUrPal is looking for a Bid Manager – RFx & eAuctions who will work closely with one of our enterprise customers to manage their end-to-end RFI, RFP, RFQ and eAuction activities using the ProcUrPal platform.

You will be responsible for ensuring that procurement events are planned, configured, launched, monitored and successfully concluded.

This is not just a traditional Bid Management role.

You will work at the intersection of:

Procurement + Technology + SaaS + Supplier Management + eAuctions + AI

You will get hands-on exposure to how a modern enterprise procurement function is moving from manual processes and spreadsheets to an AI-powered digital procurement platform.

Key Responsibilities1. RFx / Bid Management

• Manage end-to-end RFI, RFP and RFQ events using ProcUrPal.
• Understand customer requirements, specifications, BOQs/BOMs, quantities and commercial requirements.
• Configure RFx events, lots, line items, timelines and bidding parameters.
• Coordinate with procurement stakeholders to ensure event requirements are complete and accurate.
• Manage supplier invitations and participation.
• Monitor bid submissions and ensure timely closure of events.
• Coordinate with internal and customer stakeholders throughout the bidding lifecycle.

2. eAuction Management

• Plan and execute Reverse and Forward eAuctions.
• Configure auction parameters, lots, suppliers, timelines and bidding rules.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and pre-auction communication.
• Conduct supplier briefing / training sessions where required.
• Monitor live auctions and ensure smooth execution.
• Handle supplier queries and operational issues during live events.
• Analyse auction results and prepare post-auction reports.

3. Supplier Management

• Coordinate with suppliers participating in RFx and eAuction events.
• Support supplier registration and onboarding.
• Communicate event requirements, timelines and processes.
• Assist suppliers in using the ProcUrPal platform.
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and customer stakeholders.

4. Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare RFx comparison reports and eAuction outcome reports.
• Analyse supplier pricing, participation and bidding behaviour.
• Track potential savings and commercial outcomes.
• Prepare MIS and management reports.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement events and supplier participation.

5. Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with the customer's Procurement, Finance, Business and Operations teams.
• Understand procurement requirements and translate them into platform configurations.
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for assigned procurement events.
• Ensure procurement events are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency and user adoption.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who understands bidding, procurement and commercial processes and is comfortable working with technology.

Preferred Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in:
• Bid Management
• Tender Management
• RFQ / RFP Management
• Procurement / Sourcing
• eAuctions
• Commercial Operations
• Supplier Management
• Experience managing RFI / RFP / RFQ processes.
• Hands-on experience with eAuctions / Reverse Auctions will be highly preferred.
• Understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.
• Good knowledge of commercial bidding and pricing.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with multiple suppliers and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Comfortable working with SaaS / digital platforms.

Education

Graduate / Postgraduate in:

• Procurement & Supply Chain
• Operations
• Business Administration
• Commerce
• Engineering
• Or a relevant discipline.

CIPS / Supply Chain / Procurement certifications will be an added advantage.
