Role Overview
The BFSI Trainer will be responsible for delivering domain and behavioural training for learners preparing for customer-facing roles across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI). The role requires a combination of hands-on BFSI industry experience and training capability, with a strong understanding of how frontline banking and financial services roles operate in practice. Responsibilities include classroom and virtual facilitation, learner coaching, simulations and role-plays, assessments, and collaboration with the Learning Design team to ensure training content remains accurate, practical and aligned with industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. BFSI Training Delivery
● Deliver classroom and virtual training on BFSI products, processes, sales, service and customer-facing roles.
● Facilitate practical learning through case studies, role-plays, simulations and real-world BFSI scenarios. ● Deliver behavioural and professional skills training relevant to frontline BFSI roles.
2. Learner Coaching & Assessment
● Assess learner knowledge, skills and job readiness through quizzes, role-plays and practical evaluations.
● Provide structured feedback, coaching and remediation to improve learner performance.
3. Content & Domain Support
● Review BFSI learning content for domain accuracy, relevance and practical applicability.
● Contribute industry examples, case studies, activities and domain inputs for new and existing programs.
4. Training Effectiveness
● Track learner performance and identify recurring capability gaps.
● Share training observations and recommendations for improving learning outcomes.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
● Collaborate with Learning Design, Operations, SMEs and other stakeholders for effective program delivery.
● Participate in client interactions, trainer enablement and field immersions as required.
Key Responsibilities
● 4–5 years of overall professional experience, including hands-on experience within banking or the broader BFSI sector.
● Experience in customer-facing or business roles such as branch banking, relationship management, sales, lending, customer service, collections, operations or similar BFSI functions.
● Prior exposure to training, coaching, mentoring or facilitation.
● Strong understanding of BFSI products, processes, customer interactions and sales/service environments.
● Strong classroom facilitation, presentation and learner-engagement skills.
● Ability to simplify complex concepts and translate domain knowledge into practical learning.
● Comfort with role-plays, simulations, assessments and individual coaching.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Willingness to travel occasionally for training delivery, client engagements or field immersions.
