Bellhop / Porter

Role Description The Bellhop / Porter is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for welcoming guests, and providing courteous support throughout their arrival and departure. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests at the entrance, handling baggage safely and efficiently, escorting guests to rooms or designated areas, and offering basic information about facilities, services, and directions. The role also involves coordinating with reception and other staff to ensure smooth check-in and check-out, responding to guest requests promptly, and maintaining cleanliness and order in lobby and entry areas. The Bellhop / Porter may support receptionist duties when required, participate in training sessions to improve service quality, and uphold safety and security procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse guests.
• Experience or aptitude in Receptionist Duties, including coordinating with front office staff and assisting with guest queries.
• Ability to handle Luggage safely and efficiently, with good physical stamina and attention to guest comfort.
• Willingness to participate in Training to enhance service standards, safety practices, and operational procedures.
• Basic knowledge of local area (Bengaluru) to assist guests with directions and recommendations.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented, with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Prior experience in hospitality, front office, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certification is beneficial.
