Role Description The Barista role at Zerve - Brew & Beyond is a full-time, on-site position based in Nagpur. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other beverages to company standards, as well as handling basic food preparation and presentation of menu items. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, taking orders, operating the POS system, and ensuring prompt, friendly service. The Barista maintains a clean and organized workspace, restocks supplies, follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, and supports opening and closing procedures. This role also involves learning recipes, understanding coffee brewing methods, and working closely with the team to deliver a consistent, positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage courteously with guests and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Candidates should possess Barista skills, including basic coffee knowledge, beverage preparation, and familiarity with espresso machines or willingness to learn.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for taking orders accurately, coordinating with colleagues, and resolving guest concerns.
• Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills and an understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail setting is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Basic numeracy and comfort using a POS system for order entry and payment processing.
