About this role
About Us
Yogicverse operates Nalanda Retreat in Goa, a wellness retreat welcoming guests from India and around the world. We are looking for an Ayurvedic Physician to join our on-site wellness team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Ayurveda consultations and health assessments
- Review guests health history, lifestyle, and wellness goals
- Create personalised Ayurveda and wellness plans
- Recommend suitable therapies and assess suitability for Panchakarma
- Monitor guest progress and adjust programs as needed
- Guide therapists on prescribed treatment protocols
- Maintain accurate consultation and health records
- Explain recommendations clearly to guests
- Coordinate with the wellness team and follow clinical and safety standards
Requirements
- BAMS degree from a recognised institution
- 3+ years of professional Ayurveda experience
- Good knowledge of Ayurveda therapies and Panchakarma
- Strong communication skills and good spoken English
- Comfortable working in a guest-facing wellness setting
- Experience with international guests is a plus
