Job Overview

TAC Security is looking for a skilled AWS Engineer with 35 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS services, cloud infrastructure management, automation, deployment, monitoring, and cloud security. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, availability, performance, and security of cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage core AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Configure and manage AWS networking components, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, NAT gateways, and load balancers.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, access controls, and security monitoring.
• Work on CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize AWS environments for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable cloud operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Route 53.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Good understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization; Kubernetes knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Understanding of cloud security concepts, IAM management, encryption, and access control.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS Developer Associate.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and cloud security tools.
• Knowledge of AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Experience managing production-grade cloud environments.
