About this role
We are hiring an Automotive DFMEA Facilitator with experience in automotive product development, design risk management, and DFMEA activities.
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 5–10 Years
Work Mode: Work from Office
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and facilitate Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Identify potential design failures, risks, and their effects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
- Prepare and maintain DFMEA documentation, review records, and approval records.
- Support design reviews and Design Verification & Validation (DV&PV) activities.
- Track risk-reduction actions and ensure timely closure.
- Ensure compliance with AIAG-VDA FMEA methodology and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Support engineering change management and quality reviews.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in DFMEA and FMEA.
- Hands-on experience in DFMEA facilitation and documentation.
- Automotive Electrical/Electronics (EE) system-level DFMEA experience.
- Knowledge of AIAG-VDA FMEA methodology.
- Understanding of design reviews, risk management, and change management.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and ISO 21434 Cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of automotive product development processes.
