Associate Motion Graphic Designer

We are looking for a creative and curious Junior Motion Graphics Designer with 1-2 years of professional experience in motion graphics to join our team at Bright. You'll work on motion graphics and video content that bring stories to life and support our mission to make personal finance smarter and more accessible. You'll contribute to real projects, collaborate with the team, and grow your skills while creating work that has a meaningful impact.

• You will build the cross-functional skills to one day become a Start-up Founder, building your own company.
• You will build advanced skills in AI and Finance - trained by Tech founders who have this expertise.
• You will build a deep end-to-end understanding of building a customer-focused financial product from scratch.
• Complete ownership of the motion/video design and a chance to conceptualise and implement your solutions

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating motion graphics-based videos to explain product features, tutorials, and brand campaigns.
• Support the growth and brand team by contributing to assets such as brand videos, website visuals, and social media content.
• Work with storyboards and contribute ideas to bring them to life through animation and design.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to understand briefs and translate them into engaging visuals.
• Learn how to apply Bright's brand identity and evolve it through animated storytelling.

Requirements:

• A portfolio or samples of creative projects (can include student work, freelance, or personal projects).
• Basic knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma).
• Curiosity to learn 3D animation tools (Blender is a plus).
• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in exploring AI-assisted creative workflows.
• A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and storytelling.
• Willingness to research trends, experiment with ideas, and take feedback.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
