Associate - Audit & Compliance

Department Overview:

The current opening is for the Assurance and Compliance Department of our firm. The Department handles regulatory and taxation-related matters for clients, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements. The team specializes in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, TDS returns, ROC Returns, Form 15CA/CB, tax audits, and the maintenance of books of accounts.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2 years of experience to join our Assurance & Compliance team. The role involves working on statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory compliances across various industries. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting statutory audits, internal audits, and limited reviews.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and Indian Accounting Standards.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist in tax audits, GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas of improvement.
• Prepare audit working papers, documentation, and reports.
• Liaise with clients to gather required data and resolve audit queries.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  

Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 02 years of relevant experience in assurance, audit, or compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, auditing standards, and basic taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/audit tools.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  
  

Good to Have:

• Exposure to statutory audits of corporates/LLPs.
• Working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and ROC compliances.
