Assistant Manager - Store Department

Manage daily warehouse activities as per approved SOPs.

ensure smooth material flow from receiving → inspection → put-away → storage → picking → issuance.

Ensure proper bin/rack/location management.

Monitor warehouse space utilization and material arrangement.

Maintain 5S, housekeeping and safety standards.

Monitor incoming material unloading and receiving activities.

Ensure material quantity and identification verification.

Monitor GRN preparation/posting within defined TAT.

Track and resolve short receipt, excess receipt and damaged-material discrepancies.

Coordinate with Procurement, Quality and suppliers for receipt-related issues.

Ensure timely material availability to production.

Monitor material issue TAT.

Ensure correct material, quantity, batch/lot and location before issuance.

Minimize wrong material issuance and picking errors.

Maintain proper documentation and system transactions.

Maintain high inventory accuracy through perpetual inventory and cycle counting.

Monitor stock discrepancies and ensure timely investigation/correction.

Ensure proper identification, labeling and location accuracy.

Allocate manpower according to daily workload and material movement.

Monitor attendance, productivity, overtime and manpower utilization.

Track individual/team performance.

Ensure 100% compliance with barcode/scanning processes where applicable.

Monitor system transactions against physical material movement.

Support warehouse digitization, automation and dashboard implementation.

Ensure accurate real-time inventory information.

Coordinate with Production for material requirements, Planning for material availability, with Procurement for shortages, discrepancies and supplier issues.

Ensure warehouse readiness for internal and external audits.

identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Implement Kaizen and process-improvement initiatives.
