Assistant Manager - QA/QC - Civil - Bangalore - HAL

Role & responsibilities

• Carry out daily site inspections for civil, structural, MEP, finishing, and interior works.
• Monitor material quality by coordinating with labs for cube tests, steel tests, concrete mix designs, waterproofing checks, etc.
• Inspect workmanship at each stage excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, blockwork, plastering, painting, flooring, etc.
• Verify and approve method statements, bar bending schedules (BBS), and mock-ups before execution.
• Ensure proper calibration of equipment, tools, and testing instruments at site.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs), report deviations, and ensure timely corrective measures.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, checklists, and test records for all construction activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to close quality issues.
• Ensure handover documentation including test certificates, warranties, and as-built drawings are complete before project closure.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Relevant experience in QA/QC within construction projects.
• Industry Preference: Commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, IT parks, high-rise buildings, and large-scale construction projects.
