Assistant Manager Growth & New Initiatives

Role Purpose: As part of its mission to be a global trade enabler, DP World established DP World Trade Finance to help businesses grow by providing access to trade finance solutions that meet their working capital and liquidity needs. Operating as a strategic enabler across the global trade ecosystem, DP World Trade Finance connects trade participants with participating financial institutions and directly provides working capital solutions to exporters, importers, and logistics partners.

Positioned within the Growth & New Initiatives teamwhich functions as a Strategy Office reporting directly to executive leadershipthe Growth Analyst will play a key generalist role in supporting trade finance growth, market expansion, product development.

The ideal candidate is a strategy-oriented analyst with strong communication, problem-solving, and data visualization capabilities. Serving as a "jack of all trades," this role bridges strategic reporting, executive presentation development, marketing communications, market research, and business analysis to drive DP Worlds growth agenda internally and across DP World entities.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategy, Market Expansion & New Initiatives

• Support the Head of Growth & New Initiatives in defining and executing the trade finance growth strategy aligned with DP World’s global objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market opportunity assessments, and competitive intelligence research to support new country entries and product expansion.
• Support cross-functional strategic projects across new product development, process optimization, and go-to-market strategies.
• Explore emerging AI applications and technologies to identify potential use cases that improve processes, decision-making, and growth tracking.

Marketing, Thought Leadership & Communications

• Own the development and execution of marketing and communications collateral to enhance brand visibility within the trade finance and DP World ecosystems.
• Draft high-quality written materials, including press releases, media briefs, articles, and thought leadership content.
• Identify and leverage marketing channels, industry forums, and strategic partnerships to expand market reach and collaboration.
• Collaborate with DP World’s corporate communications and marketing teams to align messaging across global platforms.

Executive Communications & Presentation Design

• Structure, design, and draft executive-level PowerPoint presentations, business cases, and strategic narratives for senior leadership, Board members, Founders’/ CEO’s office and CFOs.
• Translate complex financial, operational, and market data into clear, compelling, and actionable executive insights.
• Synthesize inputs from internal stakeholders to craft briefing notes, memos, case studies, and performance updates.

Analytics, Research & Reporting

• Track business performance metrics, maintaining financial models, dashboards, and analytical frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory, legal, and geopolitical developments impacting trade finance, offering actionable strategic insights.
• Work closely with sales teams to articulate and quantify the logistics and supply chain benefits delivered by trade finance solutions.
• Utilize AI tools and automation to streamline research, data collection, and executive reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Support

• Partner with internal functions—including Credit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, Product, and regional DP World teams—to support strategic initiatives.
• Manage timelines, follow-ups, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Provide ad-hoc strategic and operational support across the Trade Finance business as priorities evolve.

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Executive presentation decks, memos, and briefing packages for C-suite and board-level updates.
• Market research reports, competitive benchmarks, and country expansion feasibility assessments.
• Marketing collateral, thought leadership article drafts , and external event materials.
• Performance dashboards, financial models, and business case evaluations.
• Go-to-market and project tracking plans for new product and market launches.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: 4–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, growth/business analysis, or within fintech, trade finance, or financial services.

Hard Skills & Competencies

• Executive Presentation & Storytelling: Proven ability to structure high-impact presentations and convey strategic stories clearly (not just designing slides).
• Data Analysis: Proficient in data analysis, Excel, and creating visual dashboards.
• Strategic & Copy Writing: Exceptional written communication skills for press releases, executive summaries, and thought leadership papers.
• Market & Business Research: Strong desk research skills with an ability to synthesize trends into strategic recommendations.
