Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic finance professional to join our Finance team as an Assistant Manager / Associate Manager - Finance. The role will primarily support factory finance operations, business partnering, inventory management, costing, and financial controls. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in manufacturing finance, and a good understanding of FMCG business dynamics.

Location: Bangalore (HQ)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive factory finance operations and provide financial support to manufacturing functions.
• Monitor and control inventory valuation, stock movements, reconciliations, and inventory-related risks.
• Analyze product costing, manufacturing variances, and cost optimization opportunities.
• Support monthly closing activities, MIS reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Partner with plant, supply chain, procurement, and business teams to improve financial performance.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and compliance requirements.
• Track key operational and financial metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Assist in audits, statutory requirements, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support business planning, profitability analysis, and decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualified CA or CMA with minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience.
• Prior experience in FMCG company.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Experience in Factory Finance / Manufacturing Finance.
• Understanding of Inventory Management, Costing, and Financial Controls.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
